Raise your vibration and get UNSTUCK

I started the Weekly UNSTUCK to be a FREE resource for helping people stay mentally well. If you want to support the newsletter, check-out the UNSTUCK merch store. You can get a hat, t-shirt or sticker to send us some love. The Dodger blue UNSTUCK Los Angeles shirts are brand new. UNSTUCK's goal is to bring wellness to everyone.

Every week, we share a round-up of important resources at the intersection of meditation, tech and business. Do you have any links to share? Reach-out at ryan@ryanjwill.com. We also want these wellness to become more cool (whatever that means), so more people take care of themselves. To help manage your stress and anxiety, here are some resources to help you stay grounded.

Explaining Dreams, Mindfulness, and the Mind on Netflix

When you are taking a break from watching Tiger King, The Mind, Explained on Netflix is a fun and easy to watch series. The series talks about common terms like monkey mind, lucid dream, and the science of psychedelics. Narrated by Emma Stone, the series has smart to very smart episodes on psychedelics, dreams, and mindfulness. This definition of mindfulness meditation his the spot: "Mindfulness meditation is like training your mind, like when you go to the gym—you become fitter," which is an easy way to explain it.

How to Change Your Mind

Speaking of The Mind Explained, one of their episodes talk about Michael Polian's book: How to Change Your Mind: What the New Science of Psychedelics Teaches Us About Consciousness, Dying, Addiction, Depression, and Transcendence. One of our favorite books in 2019, Pollian talks about how the United States has got it all wrong with mental health. Many scientists & researchers are performing research how drugs like Psilocybin and MDMA can actually help us. Little known fact: Bill W., the founder of Alcoholics Anonymous spoke of LSD's positive mental effects and saw potential for it helping alcoholics in recovery.

Dealing With Quarantine Stress? Breathwork is the Meditation to Help

Breathwork helps us with healing stress and managing our fight or flight stress response. Breathing helps our bodies to "rest and digest" mode. This helps us deal with stresses like money, family, love, and health in a more grounded way. Purposeful breathing can help us relax, improve our health, and get us through this uncertain time period. Harnessing your breath "quells anxiety, regulates the nervous system, and balances the oxygen, CO2, and pH levels in our blood."

Take Some Virtual Breathwork Classes This Week

There are some awesome breathwork teachers teaching virtually right now. Stephanie Carson of Soul Sanity is teaching breathwork Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Follow her on Instagram for more info. Marlize Joubert is teaching on Mondays at 6pm, you can follow her on Instagram for more details. Shanila Satar, who spoke at our initial Future of Meditation and Wellness Webinar, is teaching in the Womxn's Breathwork Circle. Sundays at 5pm, RSVP here. They gather every week as a community of womxn to practice a self-healing breathwork.

I've done breathwork exercises nearly every day this week. Breathwork is saving me during COVID-19.
